Installing Reason 4 using Remote Disk

Just got my MacBook Air yesterday and trying to install Reason 4 using Remote Disk ... got no optical ,,, advert said I don't need one ... Everytime I try to install program keeps asking me to put in the DVD ... but ain't got a local DVD drive, drive remote on my Vista machine .... Am I missing something or was the advert misleading?

Some programs (especially copy protected ones) or Windows installation don't work with remote disk. I'm not familiar with Reason 4 so I can't comment on it.

FYI, if you ever want to watch a DVD or burn a CD or DVD you will need the external Superdrive. For $99 it's worth it.
