I need it to be able to hide running games, so nothing like showdesktop will really due.
Need to hit like F5 and immediately hide a game such as wingnut 2

Thank you for the post, but it doesn't work inside games. Tried the command + H inside wingnut2 didn't do anything. Tried it in the game atomic canon was ugly turned the screen black had to crash out the game. command +H is really if your in your desktop using pages, browser and hide it with that, but if you're in a game forget it.

Should add, businesses routinely install tracking software on employee's computers to watch what you're doing on company time. Some simply track keystrokes they can evaluate later. More advanced software will allow them to actually watch what you're doing on their monitor as if they were sitting at your computer. So having a "boss key" will do you no good.

A person where my wife works was recently fired in just that way. They knew she was spending hours doing personal shopping on line.

The term "bosskey" has kind of entered the vernacular and doesn't necessarily mean you're doing this at work.

The term "boss key" has only one obvious meaning. Why else would the OP plainly ask?

Need to hit like F5 and immediately hide a game such as wingnut 2.

Your example has nothing to do with hiding your intentions from your boss.

Heh! Just realized the silliness of my own response. Yes, of course you can use Exposé as a boss key. But that's still exactly what you're doing when hiding your true activity from your boss. Using it as a boss key. But then you have to hope your boss is dumb enough not to question why your screen is never showing anything productive every time he or she approaches your station.

This will also of course still do you no good if your company is using monitoring software. They won't have to be standing anywhere near your computer to see what you're up to.
