green colorcast when printing with preview

Hi, everytime I try to print using Preview I get a green colorcast on the printed picture. I used the advanced tab to set up the proper printer, paper size and paper type. I tried using no color managment, color sync managment or epson managment and the result are always the same. I get similar results using Photoshop. What is the best way to find out if there is something wrong with the printer or if it's the color managment of Tiger that's giving me this problem.
My printer is an Epson R200 ( 6 ink cartridges). The green colorcast is more visible on a black and white picture. A black to white gradient posterized ( set at 21) will show a lot of green.
Thanks

No I am not. I got rid of the Gimp printer drive after all sorts of problems! I went to the Epson site, UK I think and down loaded their latest driver.
I have also noted that draft printing is now really, really dull! I have also lost all the printer drivers that used to be with the printer, ie , boaderless, cd print etc.
If I could I would get rid ot Tiger but I think its a bit late!

I am also having a problem with the R200 printer. When I print a document from MS Word the watermarked image in the back ground of my document shows in the quick preview window of the print dialog, and prints with a green cast. When selecting Print Preview from the file menu everything looks normal.

I tried going and adding the printer by selecting more pinters & epson USB as discussed earlier but it did not fix my problem. I took the document file over to windows and it printed fine.

I looked on the epson website for new drivers, but the only driver I found for OS X 10.4.X was listed under the R200 but said it was for All in Ones. I am running 10.4.2.

Thank You,
Matt

I have determined that, in my situation, the green color cast is introduced when I ctrl+click the image in my MS Word document & Select: Format Picture > Picture > Image Control > Color > Watermark. When I set the color option to automatic, black and white, or grayscale everything previews and prints fine. Anyone have an idea why the watermark option would be introducing the green cast?

Thank You,
Matt

Yes, I have the same problem with tinted watermarks in Word! A document that used to print color watermarks correctly now turns all the watermarks cyan. At first I thought the printer had run out of ink, but other docs (without watermarks) print fine. I also noticed that when I turn off the watermark option on the image in Word, the image prints correctly.

Here's my setup:
OSX 10.4.2
Word 11.2 (050714)
Xerox Phaser 8200DP color printer

Everything is patched with the latest available patches. I haven't tried to print this document in a few months (and I had Panther the last time I printed it), so I can't pinpoint which software update caused the problem. Could have been Office 2004 SP2, or something related to Tiger.

The document looks OK on the screen (and from Word's print preview) until you actually try and print--then the quick preview window in the Print dialog box shows the watermarks have turned cyan and they print that way as well.
