Macbook to RGB (analog) port
I have a Westinghouse LCD television that I want to connect to my Macbook. What cable accessories do I need?
The RGB (which I think is the same as VGA, right?) port on the Westinghouse is a female port, so I need a male VGA input. There is no HDMI port on the Westinghouse. Can anyone recommend the proper cable or combination of cables - ones that actually have some length to them as well?
I bought a miniDV to DVI cable, assuming, since I use that for my Cinema Display at work that the same was needed for the Westinghouse TV, but now I am not sure. Is VGA DVI-D? Is the miniDV to DVI, DVI-I? Are those two compatible? I am confused about what I need to make this work.
Thanks for the help.
