Vista 32 to 64 bit?

I have Vista Home Premium "install" with Vista Ultimate "upgrade". The upgrade from store came with both 32 & 64 bit DVDs. I assumed, when I later bought the "install", it would contain both as well but found that only 32 bit was in the plastic case. The Ultimate 64 bit can not be used to upgrade Ultimate 32, nor Home Pemium 32. On the Home Premium enclosure, in small writing: "Includes 32 bit DVD and information on obtaining 32 bit CDs or a 64 bit DVD, additional fees may apply", but since I use the install only to get to the upgrade, I've seen no information.

I would be happy to learn the least expensive route to take to get 64 bit Ultimate installed in this scenario.

Hatter, thank you for the pointers. After I realized that it was possible to boot from Upgrade DVD by option key, install(s) got done.

Noteworthy:
1) I forgot, as usual, to first deauthorize my iTunes account which is at 5 of 5, ( I was toggling it off and on between Leopard and Vista in this Mac Pro so it could be used in either) and I think unless I reinstall Vista 32 bit I will not be able to iTune 'till ~Apr. 2009. I'd done a "complete system backup to external disk & lost it when I did same with 64 bit OS. I should have renamed previous 'cause it was replaced. Woe is me, No iTunes.

2) MyTV.PVR Cable to USB Hauppauge/Eskape & WinTV2000 which works on both Leopard & Vista 32, now only works in Leopard. Wondered if the Windows Feature "Subsystem for Unix" with 870MB download of intel64 Tools & Sdk might be useful. Have not tried it yet.

3) In Disk Management I "Shrunk" the bootcamp partition with Vista 64 bit and installed Vista H.P. 32 on resulting (extended) drive. Oddly, Leopard only sees the U 64 Files.

Thanks again. Have to try to burn $200 worth of iTunes music and bring it back as .mp3/.wma
