Invisible volumes? Please help!

Hi all,

I am using Azureus to download some (legit) live recordings, and I ran in to an interesting problem.

first, let me state that I use an external Firewire drive to save downloads to.

When I first set up azureus, I set my save directory to my usual downloads folder - or so I thought. As it turns out, the save dialog in Azureus shows TWO copies of my external hard drive. 1 is listed as "My extra Stuff" and has the usual FW drive icon. The other says "My extra Stuff 1" and has a 'network alias' icon. I can only get to this "phantom extra stuff 1 drive' through azureus, and only through My_Computer--->Volumes--->My Extra Stuff 1.

I cannot find the file in the finder or through Spotlight. But it has completed the download, and is still sharing. I have since fixed the save directory, but would like to find this mysterious file (and understand what happened).

Any help is appreciated.

thanks,

ScottieB

I am having the exact same problem. I was using Azureus and I usually save to an external firewire drive. I accidentally unplugged the firewire drive while Azureus was downloading and ever since then, it created a "Volume" labeled "Firewire 1". I can view the contents of it in Azureus and if I click Finder|Go, and then type "Firewire 1". Otherwise, the volume is invisible. Have you figured out how to correct this problem?
