my iphone won't sync with my windows vista

Everytime i connect my iphone to my laptop, it acts as if the iphone's a camera, and only copies the pictures to my laptop.

I've tried restarting my iphone,
redownloading itunes,
connecting my iphone several times.

nothin's workin.

Hey Lickyle,

Well if you've completely gone through the two articles that were linked above and its still not recognized, these laptop USB articles may resolve the issue.

Make sure the iPhone is directly connected to the laptop, with the laptop plugged into the wall. Make sure you have the available updates for iTunes and Windows.

If the Apple Mobile Device Service is running and the iPhone is still not recognized, the issue may be security software. Try disabling the security software or uninstalling it.
