Importing Numbers table into pages

Hi,

If anyone can help me out really quickly with this I'd really appreciate it, deadline coming up!

I want to get a table I've done in numbers into my assignment on Pages. The table is in landscape form and Pages in portrait. I basically just want to get the page turn it 90 degrees and slot it into my assignment.

I've tried just copying it over but all the table just comes out in a mess.

Thanks

Hi omissimo,
There are numerous ways to accomplish your question:
1. A really quick way is a screen shot of your Numbers table then drop that into Pages.
2. In Numbers highlighted the cells then copy/paste directly into Pages not into a Pages table.
3. Change the Numbers spreadsheet to Portrait then copy/paste the data directly into Pages.

Not sure this is what you want but, I hope it helps.

Sincerely,

RicD

Hi Donato,

Thanks for the response.

I'm not exactly sure how to do the screen shot you mentioned.

I've tried copying it both ways, into a table and just onto the page. It's just doesn't look right.

I thought it might have been possible to drag and drop the thumbnail of the page I wanted into the document but that doesn't seem to work (Apple maybe that's something you should to future versions!). I really just wanted to be able to slot the two pages from Number's into my Pages document, like you would if you printed them and shuffled them together.

Do a search in Mac Help for screen capture. It will give you several ways to take a screenshot.

But, for a better quality picture, I'd try printing the Numbers table as a PDF. Use the print view & content scaler to make the table fill the page then either export as a PDF or print to a PDF. Then insert the PDF into your Pages document.

Hello

Maybe I missed something but I don't understand your message.

Copying a table from Numbers to Pages works flawlessly as you may see on this screenshot:

Given that, it's true that there is no tool available to rotate a table but this has nothing related with your last sentence.
