Virex 7.2 does work under Tiger - have you kept a copy?

I would recommend uninstalling Virex 7.5.

Funny I used to have a copy of Virex 7.2, I wonder if it auto-deleted... spooky.

Yea you don't want anything that installs itself as a part of your OS, a standalone app does the trick very nicely without clogging up the works and causing issues like magically disappearing emails for instance.

You might take comfort from the fact that Virex never did really work. It would sit there spinning away happily, making you feel safe, but many users have found that it completely ignored viruses and worms that you had received. Run ClamXav and find out what Virex ignored.
