home movies (.mov) cant be put on iTouch!!? WHY! How do I get them on there

I've converted some of my videos into .mov format with Quicktime. I can play them on iTunes, and indeed they stay in the library. When I sync up my iTouch, it does its business, and then pops-up a message which says that "some of the videos in your iTunes library were not copied to your iPod, because they cannot be played by your iPod." ...but it says online that any .mov file will work. What the heck!!

I would appreciate any help on this one.

Hi Juboto

You will need to convert them into a .mov file with an iPod Atom (or something like that) it will then allow you to play them on the iPod.

iSquint is one such conversion tool that I know of:

Thanks for your response. iSquint most likely would help... if I had a Mac. Is there a similar program for PC's?? (As far as my quick research revealed... iSquint is only a Mac Application, please, correct me if I'm wrong.)

Sorry, I didn't read you computer specs. iSquint is a Mac only application.

In iTunes you can right click on the video you want converted and select "Convert Selection for iPod/iPhone"

There may also be windows applications that will convert your files on http://www.versiontracker.com
