Which format is iPhone using, FAT32?

As I understand that iPod can be formatted on a PC or a Mac, it can be either be FAT32 or HFS+? But what format is implying to iPhone? Does it mean iPhone has 2 versions - PC or Mac?

Thank you in advance

You are correct with the iPod being needed to be either Mac or PC... The iPhone works on both and is only 1 version, there is no need to have to reformat it when connecting to different platforms...

Hope that helps and makes sense
