How to install TinkerTool

A .dmg file needs to be double-clicked. It is a disc image file, and when you double-click it it mounts as a virtual disc, i.e. as if it were a real physical disk such as a Hard-drive or CD/DVD.

Once you have mounted it follow the instructions in the "Read Me" file

Make sure first off, you downloaded the latest version of it from:

http://www.bresink.com/osx/TinkerTool.html

When you double click the DMG, you agree to its license, and it opens a window up that instructs you to double click its icon. So it is a little more involved than some installers, but just follow the directions that come with it. If you get something else in the DMG, then you might not have the latest version.

Yep, as a brody says. I just checked it. Once you have agreed to it it installs automatically. Very simple.
