Apogee Duet out to Genelec

I got Genelec 8020a+7050B sub and I am wondering if I can hook duet DIRECTLY to genelecs? As I understand Duet has unbalanced output but Genelecs only accept Bal input. If this is not a good idea can you recommend a portable interface that has bal output and sounds as good as the Duet??

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.11), 4g RAM, 30' Cinema, 500g eSATA, Mackie Control Pro, Genelec 8020s

hi eric,
yes, it should be ok.
the duet outs are TS.
you can use TRS males in these sockets and run to XLR's on the Monitor end.
if the Gen's have a -10db/+4db switch, use the -10 setting.
if not, the duet output could be a little low into +4.
shouldn't be any other problems.
i'm running mine into a pwr amp (400watt/side) with headroom to spare.
DR9.

How do you connect an amp to the Duet? I am such a newb, I have no idea... I currently use the 1/4" outs to connect the Duet to powered speakers (AudioEngine A5's) w/ a y-cable (1/8" mini (into the A5) & 2 1/4" into the Duet breakout cable). I'm thinking of buying a NuForce Icon amp as I might wanna use Monitor Audio RS1's as my new desktop speakers (well, actually on stands next to my desk).....
