Problems with Macromedia Freehand MX

I recently upgraded my OS to 10.4.1 and have since been having problems with the object window in Freehand (version 11.0.2). If I've selected a block of text, for example, the name of the font, the style and the size do not display correctly: sometimes all these three spaces are empty, sometimes the size will be displayed in the space where the name of the font should be. Also, when I try to change the size of the font, it won't do it, but will instead change the font to something else.

Does anybody else have this problem, or any ideas on how to solve it?

Thanks!

Hi there
I have the same problems with FH mx, after upgrading to Tiger. I had read somewhere that the "adobefnt" files spread in the various folders can contribute to cause such issues, so I deleted them all. After that I had some improvement indeed: the object/font panel seems less buggy now, but still the whole application crashes after some time of intensive use and a few other features are lost or behave randomly.
I doubt Macromedia will fix it any soon... We'll have to find all the tricks ourselves, I'm afraid.

I just got a new dual 2GHz G5 with Tiger on it (I am upgraded to 10.4.2). I am having terrible crash problems with Freehand MX (11.0.2). If I try to change the font in either the object panel or the toolbar it crashes. So far I have tried re-installing Freehand and checking in Fontbook to prune back my large font collection and remove a few font duplications. Neither of these things helped at all. I was thinking perhaps I'm going to have to switch over to Illustrator (10) which I also have, but my first efforts to change a font in Illustrator also produced crashes.
