Trash icon missing from dock, I need it.

Hi,

After installing Leopard on my G4 iBook, I noticed fairly quickly the Trash icon is missing from the dock. Where oh where can my trash be?

Would it bother you to reset your Dock? Go to ~/Library/Preferences, and remove com.apple.dock.plist. Restart. If this fails, put the preference back, and try a third party application that allows Dock hacks, like DragThing. Might shake it back on.

Thanks. It is about time I cleaned out the dock anyway, resetting may do the trick. Wondering if it might have something to do with the number of icons I have in the dock, in Tiger it was not an issue but in Leopard the Trash vanished. There must be at least 100 application icons in the dock.

I will repost once I get my hands on the iBook this evening.
