Connection keeps dropping

I've been having this problem for almost a month. I apparently posted my question in the wrong forum, so here I go again. This is my issue:

The Airport just drops the connection randomly and then scans and never reconnects. Sometimes it can't even find my network. The light stays green. I then have to re-start the Airport at to get the connection going again. This happens *at least* once a day.

I have the Extreme Router. Model 1143 Firmware vs.5.3.1

This is extremely frustrating, please help!

Thanks in advance.

Are you having problems with an AirPort Extreme (802.11n) connection?
Sorry if you did not understand my instructions. Let me try again.

Open Airport Utility....

A window should show up after scanning for a short time
with your base station should showing.
(this might take a few goes if your computer keeps losing connection to the Airport)

Click on Manual Setup

Summary page shows after a few seconds of scanning.
From that page you should be able to change all your settings

Click on Access
on Access page you can change

MAC Address Access Control: (change this to) Local

Below that you will see a box
In that box you then need to set up every devise you want to be able to connect to the internet.
Using each devises Wireless MAC Address
Enter each devises code.......

......To find the Wireless MAC Address
Click Summary
Click Wireless Clients
This shows you the devises online and their Wireless Client numbers also called
Wireless MAC Address
Make a note of these codes click Airport to go back to Summary and from there you can Click on the Access page to add the address into the Wireless MAC Address Box.....

Know go back to Summary if you want to set up a secure network
From Summery you can set your WPA/WPA2 wireless security password.

Hope that is a bit Clearer.

Please note that when I did this it took a while as you need to do it while connected so it takes some luck to stay connected to the Airport long enough.
Keep trying and Good luck!

Same!
Version 5.3.2 (532.8)

Goto
Controlling access to your wireless network
In AIRPORT UTILITY <HELP MENU>

I still have some JBL speakers connected and all is good.
Iphone, ibook and MacBook pro all going fine! It was only when I connected new MacBook pro things started going bad.

But I would agree that the speakers had some affect but cant live without them, I did unplugged them when setting the airport as it was more stable, but not much.

I tried this solution after staying with a friend who has his wireless set up using MAC addresses. I am sure he is not using a Airport. So there must be other solutions.
Keep trying.
