1 question. So if i buy a wirless microphone i can use it with my Canon GL2 no matter what as logn as i have a transmitter, could you send me what i need so i can use any mic with it. Hopefully they are cheap. send me just one thats under 100... that i can connect any wirlesss mic to so it works with my GL2 and i think thats the way im gonna go.
No. You'll need a transmitter/mic and receiver package that are designed & manufactured to work together ... which is why they're called wireless mic "systems."
Oh god lol so what can work with the M3 To make it ocnnect to my GL2 and make it wireless...... could you help me with this and send me a libnk for 1. the transmitter for the M3 or 2. a package of a transmitter and the mic togother combining to make 1 price. and much easier lol.
Go to the B&H link I sent you. Look at the systems available there. Note that each system includes a mic w/transmitter and receiver (except for the plug-on systems).
If you want to use the Rode M3, you'll either need to purchase Canon's MA-300 adapter and run the mic wired, or purchase a plug-on system to make it wireless. Both are out of your price range of $200.00 if you also have to purchase the M3.
So any one of those would work and make the M3 wireless with my canon gl2 also is there anythign that i can get cheaper like under 100 dollars to make it wireless
You WILL need one that has the right outputs. I believe the GL2 has unbalanced inputs unless you use the MA-300 adapter. If so, look for a system that has an unbalanced output.
You may need to spend some time learning about balanced and unbalance audio.
ok im getting confused. Here this would make it much easier for me. If you could just send me ONE system that would make the M3 wireless and that is cheap. Than i think we would have this all sorted out.
