Is there a keyboard shortcut to the Euro sign (€) on a MacBook Pro (or Apple keyboard in general)? I know I can get it through the Character Palette, but a shortcut would be great. I found the ¥ and £ characters by holding down the option key, but no €.
17" MacBook Pro 2.4GHz,
Mac OS X (10.5),
Dual 2GHz G5, 17" 1.5GHz Powerbook, PCs.
If you open the International Preferences panel > Keyboard, you can also select Keyboard viewer -- put a check mark in the box. When you use the flag icon on the menu-bar and select this, you will be able to see all of the keys and key combinations available to you.
sorry... my keyboard layout is Ireland (English)... then option-shift-2 give me ™ sign (not Euro sign as printed beside @)... why? andhow to change ™ to Euro sign???
Just found the solution... I set up shortcut to switch directly between space by pressing Option+Number Key... so it override default keyboard shortcut for € sign when Option+2 key is pressed.
