Harpsichord Sound In Logic?

OK, call me lazy for posting this but first I have to tell you that I've been through what seems like a thousand presets and I still can't find a harpsichord sound. With everything that comes with Logic, I know it's got to be out there (or, rather, in there) somewhere. Thanks for everyone's help as usual. Cheers

There might be something usable in the EVD6, that emulates that well.

But I wouldn't even bother if you're looking for the real thing. Simply go here:

Spend 12 bucks, and download an excellent sample set that will load right into the EXS.

There are a lot of harpsichord soundfonts available on the net. There may be one suited to your needs. I also agree with Jim in that if you need to fake it, the EVD6 comes through in a pinch rather nicely.

Thanks to everyone for your help. I went and took Jim's advice and downloaded the SampleTank harpsichord (great deal at $12.00 measly dollars!) and that took care of it for me. And thanks to everyone for making this the best forum on the web in my opinion.

If you have GarageBand installed, load up the "Piano" module under "GarageBand Instruments" and then call up the Harpsichord patch.
