PC says my iPod has malfunctioned.

Whenever I plug my 2nd gen. iPod nano (2GB,silver) into my dell pc, it says: "One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it." But whenever I plug it into my sister's PC, Windows and iTunes recognize it just fine. I even restored my iPod on her PC, then plugged it back into my PC, and it STILL gave me that stupid message! I even tried using different USB ports and cables, and I STILL get that message. Is there something wrong with my PC, cuz I don't think my iPod is the problem? What do I do???

If you just did an iTune upgrade, the latest version is screwing up everyone's IPod. See if you can sync to an older version of iTune. I upgraded on my work computer and it screwed up my IPod. I reset the IPod (losing all my music) and synced it on my home computer that has an older version of ITunes and now it works. I'm definitely turning off automatic iTunes upgrade until I hear that Apple has fixed this latest version.
