Sync iTunes Between Multiple Users

Hi all,
I"m trying to sync my iTunes library between two user accounts on my MacPro. Currently, the library is being stored on my secondary hard drive. Both accounts are able to see that same folder and playback and save to it but if I modify the library in one user it doesn't affect both of them.

Is there a way for me to sync them so that the playlists and other changes like when I add new songs match up?

ALso, is there any good way to sync not only between these two drives but also with my macbook either via network or over the internet.

MacPro, MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.2)

I have been trying to do this between 4 users on one iMac for a while now. From what I have seen there is no way to have all iTunes libraries stay synced with one another. Kind of dumb considering you can do it with iPhoto libraries and they all stay up to date and synced.

The instructions that Apple gives says to manually add the files you upload in one account to the others by going into preferences and un-checking the box that says "Copy files to iTunes Folder" and then going into the iTunes Library file that you have in your public place and dropping it into iTunes to register it with your other iTunes libraries.

This to me is a ridiculously overcomplicated and tedious way of doing this and is my biggest problem with iTunes. If the reason for doing it is so that users can adjust the libraries to their own styles it should at least be something that you can toggle on/off. Oh well, maybe in the future this will be addressed but I doubt it.

Hi,
i got the same problem. I use a second account for my girlfriend (only for her e-mail and web sites), but we use the same iTunes library on my account. For me the best way is to led me choose in iTunes if i use seperate accounts or the same for the accounts in Max OS. When there is any way to set this option, she could use iTunes on her account all the way while it is syncing to mine and vice versa.

Thanks for your help.

PS: Sorry for my english!
