Searching for firmware update for Lucent Tech (Silver to Gold)

I have a Lucent Tech. Silver PCMCIA card (PC24E-H-FC) that i picked up because it has the port for an external antenna so i can use it in the garage for storing and looking up manuals. I understand that it is possible through firmware update to switch it to a gold card for slightly higher WEP encryption level.

Does anyone know where to get that firmware update? I realize that it probably has to be done on a PC.

Everywhere i search leads me to the Proxim website where you have to open a service ticket to get to their downloads section.

Am using it with a Wallstreet II 300/192Mb.

Is the silver to gold possible or is it unatainable alchemy?

Actually, looking back at the Preference Pane, it looks as if it might actually be the same as the Silver's WEP security, my bad, but it might actually be suitable for you, it has Airport 40bit, Airport 128bit, hex key and convert text to hex key.
