How can I sort a list in Pages?

hey folks, i have just finished typing my first long report on pages and must say how impressed i have been at how simple it is to use. Just a quick query really, i have approximately 50 references which are essentially their own paragraphs and i want to sort them into order Author A-Z. In Word if i highlighted the list i could press sort and it would do it for me, i just wondered if there was a similar function in pages.

Cheers.

Select the paragraphs to sort.
menu Format > Table > Convert text to table
select the table cells then

User uploaded file

Inspector > Table > Edit Rows and columns > Sort …

menu Format > Table > Convert table to text.
