logic keeps changing sample rate

You don't have other apps sharing the interface do you ? If so, they could be changing the sample rate. (for instance, if you have the HD192 assigned as either the Default I/O or to System Sound in AMS.)

What exactly do you mean ? What sample rate do you have set in Logic ?

(I think I misread your original message as meaning you set Logic to another rate and it kept reverting to 44.1)

You don't have your system sound going out through the interface-or itunes? If you start fresh you'd launcht the console, then Logic-after the console has restored the boot state. Are you using Aggregation-try it without-controlled by Logic like in the good old Panther days. Before spending $199 you could call MOTU...

This is a long standing bug with logic.
Regardless of how your system is clocked and regardless of what hardware you are using and what SR it is set to, logic will always revert to 44.1khz when you create a new song or switch core audio devices.
Obviously as most people prbably work at 44.1, not many people see this as a problem.

No, it's not a bug.
Sample rate is song-specific.
If you save your Autoload at 48, then new songs based on that will be opened at 48.

Is there any clocking device connected to the interface? Have you set the interface to be clock master?
