ShuttlePro iMovie support gone? Any comparable products??

A few years back when I did a ton of iMovie DV editing, I used (and still have) a Contour ShuttlePro - going to Contour's site looks like they are either not offering iMovie support or Leopard support any longer (not sure if I'm not understanding this correctly or not). It does look like FCE is supported though (which I am considering upgrading to) - anybody have success getting this thing to work with iMovie HD or 08? Are there any newer, better shuttle controller options out there to assist in speeding up the editing process? Thanks!

Well, I did find out that iMovie HD 06 will work with it, along with the latest drivers on their site (even though they dont mention iMovie compatibility) - there is still a profile in the software for iMovie button configuration. iMovie 08 will not work however.

I am still curious if there are other/better USB based shuttle/jog controllers out there for editing (without going in studio equipment)??

Alan is right!

Open your Contour Shuttle Preferences,
Click on the Application Settings drop down menu and your first menu item is "Create New Settings"

If you have done a lot of editing, you probably will not like the "feel" of iMovie '08.

iMovie HD '06 is a better program IMHO. AND you won't have to program the Shuttle Pro.
