IOAudiostream issue
I have the following very annoying problem:
When I start playing World of Warcraft in Tiger, my system starts to stutter (it freezes for 1 second etc, then keeps going). When playing over ethernet, these little freezes will eventually kill my whole internet connection so I have to restart or put my macbook to sleep. When using airport, the system stutters, I often loose the wireless signal, but the connection is re-established within seconds.
I then started to look through my logs and every time I get this system-stutter I get log entries like:
"May 25 18:35:33 xxx-Computer kernel[0]: IOAudioStream0x3fa8f00::clipIfNecessary() - Error: attempting to clip to a position more than one buffer ahead of last clip position (2029,4ff)->(202c,16fc).
May 25 18:35:33 xxx-Computer kernel[0]: IOAudioStream0x3fa8f00::clipIfNecessary() - adjusting clipped position to (202c,4ff)
May 25 18:38:13 xxx-Computer kernel[0]: IOAudioStream0x3fa8f00::clipIfNecessary() - Error: attempting to clip to a position more than one buffer ahead of last clip position (2387,1472)->(238a,1dd).
May 25 18:38:13 xxx-Computer kernel[0]: IOAudioStream0x3fa8f00::clipIfNecessary() - adjusting clipped position to (2389,1472)".
I only get these IOAudiostream log entries when playing World of Warcraft (all audio-settings are off and there is nothing else running (no iTunes or sth)).
Does anybody have an idea what is wrong or how to fix that? It started just recently, and World of Warcraft was running flawless before.
I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.
Cheers
