Adding RAM to Power Mac G5

I have a Power Mac G5 with 1GB RAM. My system profiler tells me I have 4 DIMMs of 256MB DDR SDRAM. 2 DIMMs have speed PC3200U-25330, 2 DIMMs have speed PC3200U-30330.

I purchased 2 512MB DIMMs with following specs:

<1GB (2x512MB) Apple PowerMac G5 PC3200 DDR Memory Kit

<2pcs 512MB 184pin PC3200 DDR DIMM

<Part Number:
<
<MX-M9297G/A
<2:AEGABGBISAYA
<Compatibility:
<
<Compatible with Apple Power Mac G5 1.6GHz, G5 1.8GHz (M9031LL/A), G5 1.8GHz (M9555LL/A), <G5 A1047, G5 Dual 1.8GHz SuperDrive (M9454LL/A), G5 Dual 2GHz (M9032LL/A), G5 Dual 2GHz <SuperDrive (M9455LL/A), G5 Dual 2GHz 16x double-layer SuperDrive (M9747LL/A), G5 Dual <2.3GHz (M9748LL/A), G5 Dual 2.5GHz SuperDrive (M9457LL/A), G5 Dual 2.7GHz (M9749LL/A).

My Mac won't recognize the new memory. I've tried putting them in different slots, taking out the old memory, it still doesn't work.

Can anybody give me an idea what's going on? Is this memory incompatible?

Thanks,
Dave
