LaTeX Font

Does anyone know which font is close to that produced by LaTeX.
I'd like to type simple expression like 2n and I'd like it to look like
LaTeX formatted.
Thanks,
Bernard

You can browse your fonts using Font Book. There is not Computer Modern, but you might find Century Schoolbook. Palatino might be another suitable choice, as that is one of LaTeXs fonts.

You can also view symbols etc. using the character viewer. In your International preferences (in System Preferences) enable Character Palette (Keyboard Viewer is also useful).

Now you can click on the flag in your menu bar and select Show Character Palette. If you change the view to All Characters and the category to Mathematical Symbols, you will find a range of symbols that meets or exceeds what LaTeX provides. If you disclose the font variation section, you will see the different renderings of the character in various fonts that support it.
