Default Line Spacing in Pages is off...

Hiya Pages Peeps!

Whenever I open a new document and start typing in Pages, the line spacing is some weird setting...somewhere between 1.75 to 2.5 lines spacing. It is ALWAYS this way whenever I start a new document. I have to change the line spacing manually to an appropriate value (I usually use 1.0/single for what I do).

How do I set the default line spacing?

Thanks!

Bernard

I don't think you can save over the Apple templates.

Another thing to consider is to save the template with the name you want ("Default" if it is something you always start with) and then save it as a document or template (templates open as documents, and a document will always have all the template goodies in it)

Then drag that to the right side of your dock. Clicking on that will always open Pages. Of course, if you do that, make sure you save the new document with your new name right away so you don't accidentally overwrite it by saving it afterwards.
