DNS servers greyed out
I am using an Express mobile broadband card (Merlin EX720) in my MBP. I am unable to change the DNS servers because they are greyed out. I need to change them because certain sites are unavailable using Sprints DNS servers (for whatever reason, Sprint is no help since I use a Mac).
I have purged the DNS cache using dscacheutil but that does nothing. I want to be able to use OpenDNS addresses, but since greyed out Sprint address are in there and are unchangeable, I am at a loss to find a work around for this. I'm not using a router (obviously) so what other options, if any, are there? Do I really have to downgrade to Tiger to be able to use whatever DNS servers I want?
MBP 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, Mac OS X (10.5.2)
