Question

iPhone with family plan

When will the iPhone be compatible with family plans? ... For instance, if my family plan has unlimited text messaging, how come that doesn't work with the iPhone? I understand you have to pay more for the data (internet) services, but why can't unlimited text be incorporated into your family plan's unlimited text?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.2)

The iPhone is definitely compatible with family plans, and always has been. Not sure about the extra texting packages, though...we just use the 200 that come with each of our phones, as we're not big texters.

Unlimited texting for family plans has always been available for the iPhone. It's $30 a month for all phones (including iPhones) in the plan. I'm not sure why you thought it wasn't.
