Well everything was ok until recently. Ill be in the middle of a conversation and i will get an Error and it will sign me off and all this. I send the report so i didnt save what the error said but im sure it will happen again and i will post what the error says but just by saying this does anyone know whats wrong? Well in fact i tried putting the error on here but it wouldn't copy... granted i dunno how to copy on a mac new to it ^^; but does anyone else have that problem?
i dont think so because they are to different programs and ichat is a video chat i believe i use aim also it signs me out sometimes but no error ever happens but like the replay before me said aim 4.7 is an old version
*"i dont think so because they are to different programs"*
Wrong Chris. Please don't discourage others by giving false information.
Peachgirl... iChat is a fully functional AIM client that happens to support video conferencing. It is included on your Mac and can be found in the Applications folder. You will be prompted for your AIM screename credentials when you start iChat for the first time.
While it's not entirely accurate to say so... you can just think of iChat as an Apple branded version of AIM. It will not allow you to talk to people who are using MSN or Yahoo chat clients... but it's just fine with AOL... it was made specifically to work with AIM.
