Question

Security Code Not Valid

Itunes keeps telling me my security code is not valid when im sitting here with my card right in fron of me typing it in. its really starting to bug me because i could purchase songs before but now i cant because it keeps saying this. how do i fix this?

The credit card FAQ has something on this, or if that doesn't help there is a contact button at the bottom of the page:

Try posting a thread with a full description of your problem, including detailed descriptions of what is happening and what you have tried. We can't really do anything from a post in the wrong thread with no info.

I get the message "security code not valid" when I enter my VISA credit card info in the iTunes Store, but the code is valid and accepted everywhere else. I tried many times and my wife did the same with her VISA card, receiving the same message.
I can see that this is a problem for many users and there is no action taken by Apple to fix it.
That's very disapointing!

I have the exact same problem, and I tried with two different VISA cards. Must be a bug, hope they do it soon I would like to check some of the new features

I'm having the same problem, more or less. Been trying to create a $?&* account for an hour now and it keeps saying my security number isnt valid... It's been months since the first post and I can't see any helpful response.

Half the time the security code isn't the problem - just type over everything and re-save it all.

HaHa You know what? I did email to apple in regard to this issue. And got a reply. It was very SIMPLE.

Well, it's happening to me too...
I bought a iPhone and I'm trying to buy some stuff from the ITunes Store, but I can't buy and can't figure out why.
Some friend of mine told me that's because my credit card isn't international, is it true?
