Macbook + Aluminium Keyboard = Crash

Has anybody seen this? Plugin USB Aluminium Keyboard and the MB instantly hangs with the "you must restart error". It was working a treat with Tiger. The same keyboard works perfectly in a Macbook Pro. I was able to upgrade the keybaords firmware on the MBP but that didn't resolve the issue.

Sorry for cross posting, but trying to find a solution.

Hmm...

I read the thread you linked to. I had already deleted those things, and still got a kernel panic that cites DoubleCommand.

***?! I've deleted every file associated with DoubleCommand, and it's still showing up in kernel panics. Any other ideas?

Hi all. I know this forum is forever old, but the problem will persist until someone comes to an answer. My friend down the street had this problem with an iMac. We resolved it by clearing the kernel cache. I put into mac forums after we finished. Here you go
