I'm contemplating purchasing an Apple TV. From reading discussions it seams that folks are having a lot of problems with n at 5GHz.
Our set-up would be about 15 feet from the Apple Extreme, but the signal would have to go through two walls. The reason we are using the n 5Ghz is that the TV wireless audio video receiver we use to beam TV signal from the den to kitchen uses 2.4GHz. The wide band setting interfered with the TV. The genius at the apple store recommended the n 5GHz setting.
Is there a different setting at something other than 2.4GHz that might work?
No but there are 11 channels (in the US) that you can use at 2.4 Ghz, unless your equipment is really crude (like a microwave oven) a separation of a couple of channels should be ample.
