Overlapping songs on iTunes

Question

Overlapping songs on iTunes

When I play music from my library, songs overlap. The ending of one song (anywhere from 10 seconds to none) will overlap with the beggining of the next song in the library.

Welcome to Apple Discussions!

With iTunes open, go to apple-->preferences. Hit the audio tab and make sure that crossfade is not checked. When crossfade is enabled, what you suggest usually happens.

btabz means go to iTunes menu > Preferences, then click on Audio. However, if you're using iTunes 5 or later, this is under the Playback section, not Audio.
