Help! Sony rear projection LCD connected via HDMI display issue
I just bought my first mac - the mac mini. i've connected it to my Sony 55' rear projection LCD TV (KDS-55A2000) using a DVI to HDMI cable. Unfortunately, when Overscan is activated (at 1920x1080), the outer area of the screen dissappears.
If I switch off the overscan and keep the resolution the same, then it does not fill up the entire screen and doesn't look very sharp either.
I've checked the settings in the sony menu, tried restarting and unlplugging the cable - nothing. I installed switchresX control, but have no idea what I'm doing.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
