Group Delete Photos in iPhone?

How do I delete a lot of photos on my iphone? I have taken several images that I want to delete. Do I have to delete them one at the time, or is there a way to select several and then do a delete? Is there a way to use iphoto or aperture to do this?

i came on this forum to also look for a solution, since i use xp and my iphone also would crash, whenever i would try to delete using the microsoft thingy, so i did the thing the previous poster did, except i would keep on tapping the home button until all 240 pictures off of my camera roll were gone in under 30 seconds lol............so i guess just tap the camera roll, btw i did one batch of 170 and another of 70 but it didnt crash, so there you go 🙂
