PC-Card Notebook Adapter

I have a Dell wireless laptop and a imac running airport. Will a Belkin F5D9010 Wireless-G Plus MIMO PC-Card Notebook Adapter for my Dell, work with apple airport?

imac 20", Mac OS X (10.5.3), 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

It should. Have you tried and this is not the case? If so, are you currently running any encryption (WEP, WPA, or WPA2) on your AirPort wireless network? ... or do you have this wireless network set to not broadcast its Network Name/SSID?

Have not yet purchased this adapter. Am interested in getting one today. As of now, my wireless laptop is only running of of airport in my imac. Hopefully the PC-Card will increase my signal in my laptop. Signal is very low now.

I suggest, if you go ahead with the purchase, to verify the return policy first ... just in case it doesn't work and you need to return it.
