Anyone else having trouble with .Mac servers?

I think we'll see a software update before we can do anything? if its all going to come back all 'mobile me' ish then there will be PLENTY of changes needed to the system prefs, apps etc..... standing by

Old Toad, from what I've read, .mac Slideshows go away in the Mobile Me environment. So the transitional glitch isn't to blame.

I cannot update my website or access idisk, e-mail works
I'd like to know what planet service is restored on. ..oh I know the planet of wishful thinking.

That's not so. According to the .Mac to MobileMe transition FAQ

"*What about my Web Gallery?*

Your Web Gallery will *still be available at the same URL* and will also be given a new URL at me.com. For example, gallery.mac.com/emily_parker/ will work as will gallery.me.com/emily_parker (both will go to the same website)."

So something is amiss here.

As of 8pm CDT on THURSDAY Jul 10, I still cannot publish to iWeb. Anyone else?

Not only, can I not publish from iWeb, but my previously published pages are all messed up on Safari. They are, however, only somewhat screwed up on Firefox. I haven't checked Explorer, but quite frankly Scarlett, I don't give a ****!

still the same, same time zone. Nothing is moving but it will be back be back.

I created a website for my reunion on iweb. It has been working fine since February. Now I can't update or publish, nor can visitors add to the blog. Help! We don't want people to lose interest in the site. When we try to add comments, we get a message that the function is unavailable!! This is not good!

I would have thought that the moderator would have posted a notice about this at the top of the forum page as has been done in the past.

Well, it's now Friday 11th July and still nothing.

I can now log into my .Mac account, which I couldn't yesterday. Yesterday, it had servers not responding. .Mac is still there under System Preferences and when I log into me.com it just takes me to apple.com/mobileme info page, yet when I try to log into mac.com, it says that this service is unavailable due to maintenance.

What is going on?!!

I couldn't publish anything yesterday. Today slide shows of photographs still do not work on all my iweb pages. Do they work with your pages?

As I said before, .mac slideshows go away in the Mobile Me environment. Old Toad said that Web Gallery remains -- I'm not familiar with WG, so I don't know if that's a separate slideshow program -- but the Apple info on what will go away definitely includes .mac slideshows on the hit list, along with .mac bookmarks.

I'm finally able to publish an iWeb page to my www.lawrenceofthedesert.com blog, but it won't allow comments, even though I have them checked in the Inspector. Transitions can be tough, and this must be a doozy. Good luck, Apple!

iweb slide shows still can't be started (with any kind of browser), neither on PCs nor on Macs. It's about time they get this up and working again! I published a big slide show a couple of days ago and informed all my friends about it - and now I'm getting nothing but annoyed failure reports.
