Anyone else having trouble with .Mac servers?

I can get nothing at the moment from the iDisk with a browser; not even from the Sites folder with the old homepage url. One error message I receive is actually a 403:

User uploaded file

Even images used in previous posts here, hosted on the iDisk, are not rendering:

Anyone else having difficulties?

P.S. ...and now this error:

iMac G5, PowerBook G4, Mac OS X (10.5.1)

I am able to log in to .mac/MobileMe today (one computer shows .mac in SysPrefs the other shows MobileMe.

At this time, when publishing with iWeb I receive the error below at what appears to be a successful publish otherwise.

Publish Errror
There was an error updated .Mac

However, when I check the site, the blog entry was actually added.

Good luck to everyone. This new upgrade better send freakin' tingles to my toes considering everything was working great before they "improved" it.

Old Toad, from what I've read, .mac Slideshows go away in the Mobile Me environment. So the transitional glitch isn't to blame.

AFAIK .mac slideshows have nothing to do with iWeb slideshows. iWeb services should run!

I had a look into the code of a iWeb slideshow page. There is a line that refers to "mac.com"! It is clear that this URL leads to the "This service is temporarily unavailable." page - as for all URL with mac.com

This is the misleading URL in the iWeb slideshow:
+<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.mac.com/st/1/sharedassets/2.0/Common/Scripts/Site/iWPopUpSlides how.js"></script>+

Not necessarily so. In changing over to the MobilMe servers the way the new servers handle javascript has obviously been changed somehow. The current iWeb slidesshows rely entirely on javascript and that is driven by server side code.

Older slideshows don't rely on java like current iWeb slideshow do and are unaffected. Homepage site slideshows run just as good as the day they were created.

In all browsers I get fine line outlines for all photo frames in a photo page. I can get those lines to disappear by recreating the page with an earlier version of iWeb 2 that does not have the Firefox 3 fix. But then FF3 won't be able to view the page. But that does not correct the blank slideshow window.

We'll just have to report the issue to Apple and look for either a iWeb update or some other type of update.

There IS a problem with the transfer to MobileMe and publishing with iWeb. I have never had a moment's trouble publishing to my .Mac account, and have used it quite heavily for a long time. The first time today (Saturday) since the update, it gives a "Publish Error". It gives it whether I publish to .Mac or publish all to .Mac.

I ran all of the updates from Software Update, including the MobileMe 1.1 update.

I too have run the MobileMe 1.1 update on both computers in the studio - one PowerPC, one Intel.

I'm still receiving the Publish Error popup on both machines and although it appears that pages are publishing correctly, closer examination reveals that commenting is not available on published blog entries. Further, the local iWeb software doesn't realize that the pages have been published.

Has anyone else noticed that even after the MobileMe 1.1 update, iWeb still states "Logging in to .mac" It's as if Apple has entirely forgotten about this application. Which is sad because frankly it's my only use for the .mac subscription.

it's been way too many days for this kind of basic function loss.
