Before I take the plunge, has anyone had success updating to 2.0? I am sure there must be some who are enjoying themselves now, so if you have been successful, was there a trick or are some people simply having problems?
My phone has been stuck for the last 2 hour. It say it is accessing the iTunes store. the phone is a brick saying I can only make 911 calls. This is not good.
Anyone have any suggestions ??? HELP!
My iphone is stuck with the apple in the middle of the screen and the working circle below that, its been stuck in that mode for about 30 minutes now, is that part of the backing up?
What a pain! If I would have known it would take forever and still it hasn't been able to successfully update 2.0, I would have just waited a month for the update. 3 hours for backup, multiple codes, unable to connect to the internet, internet settings 3.0 adjustment, timed out internet sessions after 10 seconds trying to update the program. Just wish they would have a simple button, restore. Then we look at how easy it was last year to go into the store, go home, download the software and plug it in. Simple activation, someone needs to have a backside readjustment over this fiasco.
I have had the iPhone for 90 days and frustrated. Now I am trying to install this new 2.0 version which updated into Itunes, but my iPhone doesnt recognize the applications? Any ideas?????
Why does it have to be so hard to find on the website page where it shows the 2.0 upgrade with all the "Great features" just to have a "Click Here" to begin downloading the upgrade!!!!! What a pain in the
&^&^ What a complex process!!!
How do i get the applications on my iPhone??? Anyone?
While I had problems all day, I am now able to use all of the 2.0 functions including the push email which works as well as my Blackberry. Apple in spite of its rough start has improved the iPhone even if you are sticking with the previous model like I am.
I just spoke with the iPhone technical service department. It seems that with everyone trying to download and upgrade today; the Apple servers crashed. They claim that the problem should be fixed by morning.
I tried mine for about 2 hours and the download worked great! However, once it tried to install into the iPhone, that's when I also received an error that it needed to be restored. Well... the restore feature didn't work! I received an unknown error message and my iPhone has NOTHING.
Hopefully, the morning will prove it was worth the wait?
Hey, try having someone send the phone a text message. It got mine unstuck this morning. Still had minor issues with AT$T signal but that was with both upgraded and unchanged phones so it was system wide here in the northwest.
