Has ANYONE had any success installing 2.0?

Before I take the plunge, has anyone had success updating to 2.0? I am sure there must be some who are enjoying themselves now, so if you have been successful, was there a trick or are some people simply having problems?

Gateway, Windows XP Pro, iPhone v1.0

No i sat here for three hours trying to install 2.0 but nothing and now my iphone is frozen with the itunes sign on the screen

Just tried to update my iPhone. Haven't been successful after 4 attempts. Can't reset or restore phone software. It's currently dead in the water. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I just put my phone in the cradle and asked itunes to check for an update - and it was there automatically. Try that.

No muss no fuss.

Restoring my 6 Gigs of music took a little time.

No errors, downloaded and installed several of the free apps to play with.

Can you provide me with the URL for the 2.0 upgrade site. Can't find it anywhere on the Apple site. I have already installed itunes 7.7 but still no luck. How do I upgrade?

I'm in the UK and I had been trying to update to 2.0 for pretty much the whole day. iTunes kept telling me that I already had the latest software installed, but at around 1am I was just about to go to bed and decided to give it one last go... Success!!! The update installed and everything is great!

Inside of iTunes. Click on your iPhone and then click on the Check for Update button.

I'm having the same problem! I installed 7.7 successfully, but now when I sync it keeps saying that I have the current version 1.1.4. I've tried several times. ?????

I was going through the Restore perpetual loop last night. Talked to Apple support who told me to try again in the morning because many others were having this problem.

It worked fine this morning and the phone is no longer a brick.

Has ANYONE had any success installing 2.0?
