Push Email

Is anybody else having problems getting Push email to function? I've tried everything and I still have to manually fetch emails.

imac, Mac OS X (10.5.4)

as far as I am aware, push email ONLY works over a mobile network, when on WiFi it drops back to the default setting (ie every 15 mins, or manual fetch)

3G is effectively 'disabled' when in a WiFi zone, so the email 'push' which comes down the network is paused somewhat.

I have the same problem... email not pushing. Push is on and auto fetch set for every 15 minutes. It has been "stuck" like this the past at least 3 days. Help?

ah ha! Okay. That makes sense and shall explain why, when I test a pushing from mac to iPhone it doesn't work...I'm then on WiFi...
I have to wait a couple more days for my new Orange contract to be activated....
They gave me my iPhone saying I can already surf but have to pay attention to voice call since I have to finish my old contract time.
Appeared that surfing costed me exhorbitant extras on my paybill since it was not open...(weird French marketing of iPhone...looks like sabotage...)
