Unknown Error Occured 4280

I never had a problem burning music to any brand of audio cd's until I upgraded to iTunes version 5. Now I can't burn a cd. I have upgraded twice and I now have version 6. I have a Dell 4600C. I have slowed the burn speed down to the slowest speed possible. It will start the burn and go for 20 seconds or so, then a window pops up and it says," The attempt to burn a disc failed. An unknown error occurred.(4280)" The music I am trying to burn is music I have just purchased from iTunes and it has never been burnt to a disc before, so it isn't because it has been burned too many times. I am really frustrated and I wish I would have never upgraded to the newer version of iTunes. Any help anyone can give me will be hugely appreciated.

Have you given me your CD diagnostics anywhere? I need more information about your hardware configuration.

Hello there! I am having the same error 4280 and it is so frustrating! I can use Maxwell CDs to burn music and I don't get the error. Unfortunately, I just purchased a stack of Memorex CDs and I get the error 4280. Could this be a CD error and not a drive error?
