qmasterd crashes daily

Hi,
I bought a used iMac (24" Al running 10.5.3) a while back. It had Final cut pro on it, and I rarely use it. When I look in the console logs this process, "qmasterd" has a crash every day. I think it's related to heavy duty rendering (which I don't do at all). Is there a way to turn this off or is it always trying to run and is something to worry about?

Thanks!

Here's the console log from today...

No, came with the machine (It has a valid license, no Install CD or serial number) The seller probably installed in on another machine.

I've never used it, but am always leery of deleting stuff for fear it might affect other things... And it seems like qmasterd was one of those things FCP installed or activated when installed.

There isn't an uninstall in the FCP folder either.

Any suggestions?

Then your license is not valid.

If you agreed to purchase this computer together with FCS from the seller, they must completely remove it from their machine and give you the original disks and all documentation.

You should have also received the original Mac OS X install disks with the computer in any case.

I understand that the license isn't valid.. I'm perfectly fine deleting it, I think I accidentally turned it on once. Can I just delete FCP or will I still have problems with qmasterd?

I'm not sure if it's affecting anything, just kind of bugs me that it's running and creating errors in console logs.

Is there a way to remove or turn qmasterd off? I really don't want to go through a complete reinstall of the OS (or even an archive and install).
