OpenVPN Compatibility?

Does anyone know of a way to get OpenVPN to work with an iPhone? Our business utilizes OpenVPN and I'd like to let our iPhone users access through this type of connection. Thanks for any thoughts!

ABSOLUTELY need OpenVPN - not want...NEED! For those saying 'just jailbreak', consider this:

1. Many corporately owned iDevices have policy forbidding jailbreaking
2. There IS NO jailbreak for the iPad 2 yet

All 6 of my family's personal iPhones (3x iPhone 4s, 2x iPhone 3GSs and 1 3G) and the 1 iPad '1' ARE jailbroken. I do run OpenVPN on these devices. My new iPad 2 - S.O.L.! My work-issued iPhone 4 - not allowed to JB.

If the rest of the people here requesting are anything like me, they know at least 50-75 more people that are frustrated with, and are dying for OpenVPN support who are not posting anywhere or making themselves heard!

Since having OpenVPN available at kernel level needs jailbreaking, which is not an option for many users, would it be possible to just have an "in-app" OpenVPN implementation?
I mean: would it be possible for an app to set up an OpenVPN connection over a normal TCP/UDP socket to a VPN server and then use the connection at application level?
It could have an integrated browser or an ssh terminal. I'm absolutely not an expert so I may be completely wrong but I also don't why we cannot have an app to create an OpenVPN "tunnel" to a defined server:port so we can use it with other apps. It would be a very limited functionality but still useful. Am I completely wrong?
