Macbook w/ Vista 64 bit?

I am wanting to install an upgrade to Vista 64 bit on my Macbook. I have looked in the install guide and it states to only install 32 bit versions, but I have found that later than early '08 versions of MBPs can install 64 bit Vista. To my knowledge, the MacBook ver. 4.1s use 64 bit Core 2 Duo processors. Is it available to be installed on a Macbook? I found an update for bootcamp (version 2.1) that includes 64 bit Vista support. Is this what I need?

Starting, I have to sorry for my english, because it's not my fist language. Well, I installed Vista x64 on my new MacBook (I bought it a week ago) and works fine, except of the installation of Boot Camp. When I try to install it, the program says that it's not the correct model of computer for install it, so I had to install the x64 drivers manually from the leopard DVD. Another thing, for the display driver, I had to download it from the intel webpage, for a gm965 chipset family (mine is gma 3100). About hardware control, by a lack of apple's programs, Windows should control the energy management (except, in my case, the screen brightness). Hope that I could have helped you!!

Only the OEM 2008 OS X install DVDs contain 64-bit version of BootCamp 2.0x. And the 2008 models of MacBook use a 64-bit EFI ROM, which seems to be how Apple decides which system supports Vista 64-bit, not by cpu alone.

BC 2.1 will only update over a 2.0 of same "bit-ness" which means you have to have 64-bit 2.0 first to begin with.

Ok, I checked my Boot camp version, and it's 2.0, but when I try to install it on Windows I get a message like you can't install it because it's not a supported model. As I told you, my MacBook is new (4.1), bought on Apple's spain store last week, and I think that software should be actual too.
