Whats wrong with itunes store? i cannot connect....

I am also having the same problem, I downloaded iTunes 7.7, it syncs with my ipod touch just fine, then a couple of days ago when I went to the iTunes store it would bring the page up with broken links, then I would get the message iTunes could not connect to the iTunes store. The network connection was refused. Make sure your network connection is active and try again.". I tried reloading iTunes, checked connections...nothing. My internet works just fine until it gets frozen accessing the iTunes store. After that I have to reboot Safari before I can access the internet. Contacted Apple, nothing. Starting to get disillusioned with Apple what's up with this software?

I had to download the Norton Removal Tool. I think its okay now..

Many thanks, had problems so went into Norton > Personal firewall >Configure >
prorams > Apple I Tunes > then clicked OK. Now works fine.
