Nokia Multimedia Transfer - when the N78?

Hello,

I've got iSync working fine on my Nokia N78, but I'm far more interested in syncing playlists from iTunes. Ok, I can transfer things manually across to the MicroSD card, but it would be much easier to do it from iTunes.

The N78 is not currently supported with Nokia Multimedia Transfer.

Does anyone know where I can apply pressure to make this someone's priority?

Thanks

Giles

Of course. I already did this. Their reply was:

"Thank you for contacting Nokia Care.

With regard to your email, the iSync and Multimedia Transfer software which allows a Macintosh to communicate with certain Nokia phone models, is developed by Apple. As such, we are unable to confirm if the these plug-ins will be made compatible with other Nokia phone models. It would be best to get in touch with Apple to check if they have any software that would enable your Nokia phone to be connected to your Macintosh.

The contact details for Apple can be found on the link below:

Hence coming on over here!

I'm not too sure who's court the ball is in. But it would be nice if someone got it working

iSync definitely is an Apple developed product. However, the *Nokia Multimedia Transfer* program is developed, distributed and supported by Nokia - not Apple.

Likewise the *Nokia iSync Plugins* are also developed, distributed and supported by Nokia.

I'm not sure why Nokia are telling you that their own software is developed by Apple!

I think it's probably a case of a support person not really knowing what they are talking about.

I would suggest emailing them back, and telling them (by linking to the product on their own website), that the *Nokia Multimedia Transfer* program is most definitely a Nokia-developed application.

In fact, in the FAQ for the program, it says:

+You can send feedback about Nokia Multimedia Transfer through the application itself. Go to "Tools and settings" and select "Send Feedback to Nokia" to report your problem.+
